Lions Light International exists to extend prayer and a global voice of encouragement, exhortation, and edification through instilling help, hope, healing and the Heart of Jesus.

Our purpose is to help people walk in freedom the way the Lord has created them to! We want to show others the love of Christ by walking them through forgiveness and partnering with them to break the strongholds over their lives. Jesus set the captives free! [Luke 4:18 NKJV] Our goal is to empower people to break free of their oppression, walk in faith, and strengthen their walk with the Lord. Ministry in inner healing and deliverance allows the Lord to move through you freely and re-center your focus on Him! Lion’s Light International (LLI) has prayed and worked with people all over the world and continues to breakdown barriers in people’s lives daily! Our team consists of people from all walks of life who have gone through the ministry themselves. We ensure that our prayer and pastoral counseling sessions are 100% private and confidential. Lion’s Light International is a 501c3 non-profit organization that runs solely based off of donations.

Lori Jèan Medina

Lori’Jèan Medina was born and raised Jewish; however, she had an encounter with Jesus when she was five years old. Lori’Jéan has traveled to over twenty-two countries as a missionary. Her heart is to continue missionary work through Lion’s Light International and to train up the younger generation in Inner Healing and Deliverance for global missions. She has been involved with numerous ministries including: Inner Healing & Deliverance, Spiritual Advisor, Intercessory Prayer, Fund Raising, and Teaching Bible Studies.

Lori’Jéan has written one book, is working on another; and thus far, also contributed writing with 39 other authors for a Women’s Devotional to biblical heroines. She is also an inspirational speaker. Her qualifications, certifications, and achievements include: Ordained as a Stephen Minister, Licensed Ordained Minister, Assistant Pastor, and Youth Leader through Christ Fellowship Community Church. There she also sang on the praise and worship team and wrote and directed numerous theater productions. She was also ordained in Inner Healing through Moriah Freedom Ministries, under Pastor Jim Hanley, and was a Child Ambassador with World Vision. Lori’Jéan also served as a Crisis Counselor for battered woman in Ventura County and was a volunteer for Shanty, formally located in Laguna Beach, CA as a resource counselor for men and women with HIV/Aids.

Lori’Jéan has been married to Ray since May of 1995. Raymond is also an Ordained minister and has served on mission trips globally. He has been on several praise & worship teams singing, playing guitar, acting, and singing in many musical theater productions and running sound. They don’t have biological children; however, they have been blessed with God’s children around the world.

Angi Slaughter

Angela (Angi) Slaughter is a wife, mother, and hairstylist working as an independent contractor since 1989, not only doing her client’s hair but ministering to them on many occasions. Angi has served as a Volunteer Girl Scout Leader, Church Youth Group Leader, and Sunday School Teacher. Angi was ordained as a Reverend through Christ Fellowship Church in 2005. This allowed her to lead small groups and Bible studies. She also sang on the praise and worship team and performed in and helped direct many theater productions. She has also coordinated fundraising events for mission teams and emergency needs. Angela was ordained with Moriah Freedom Ministries in Inner Healing/Deliverance under Pastor Jim Hanley and is also ordained through Lion’s Light International.

Angi has been married to Daniel since April 2015, and he is also an ordained minister and Bible teacher. She is the mother of her adult daughter, Carlea Johnson, who is the light of her life and greatest accomplishment.

Bailey Vance

Consultant

Bailey Vance has been serving in Ministry with elementary to college aged students for over fifteen years. Within those years, she has mentored children, teenagers, young adults, worked in administration, and helped shape generations of youth to serve in the Kingdom. Bailey is also trained through Lion’s Light International in Inner-Healing and Deliverance. Bailey has her Master’s Degree in Education and Curriculum, as well as her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. She is currently teaching at a Private Christian school in Orange County, California, and serves as the Secretary for Lion’s Light International since its beginning in June of 2016. She has also served as a Missionary. As of November 2021, she is ordained as a minister through Lion’s Light International.

Susan Emery

Intercessory Prayer, Board Member

Susan Emery is the Spiritual Advisor – leading Intercessory prayer for Lion’s Light International. She is a Prophetic Intercessor who partners with the Holy Spirit as she mentors, prays, and teaches at The Bridge Church in Rancho Santa Margarita, Ca. She has served in the Mission Field, working with local churches in worship, children’s ministry, and evangelization. Susan is passionate about intimately knowing God and making Him known to others through prayer, worship, and wise counsel. Her testimony is a reflection of God’s great love and faithfulness. Susan is a Graduate of the University of Utah, and has earned a Master’s Degree in Counseling/Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Counseling from Pepperdine University. Susan is also trained in Inner/Healing and Deliverance and has been with Lion’s Light since it began in June 2016. She has also served as a Missionary. As of November 2021, she is ordained as a minister through Lion’s Light International.

John Russo

John Russo is the Chairperson on the Board of Directors for Lion’s Light International Inc. Mr. Russo’s experience covers many years as a businessman and entrepreneur in areas which include engineering, software development, technology training, business management, real estate, property management and retail stores. He has owned and operated a number of businesses and has used his experience and knowledge of corporate structure, accounting, government licensing, compliance and fiduciary oversight to help others start, manage and grow their own businesses.

Craig Castle

Craig Castle graduated from UCLA with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and worked in the computer disc drive industry in Santa Cruz, California. While in Santa Cruz, Craig began attending Twin Lakes Church where he accepted the Lord in July of 1994 and went on his first of four mission trips to Guatemala, Dominican Republic, and Honduras. Craig organized and led the kids basketball league at Twin Lakes for six years, helping at the Cornerstone Cafe for its duration. He also supported many of their missionaries. Craig joined the Board of Directors for Lion’s Light International Inc. in January 2019.

Deborah Hunter

Deborah G. Hunter is a wife, mother, author, inspirational speaker, philanthropist, and CEO & Publisher of Hunter Heart Publishing and co-owner of Hunter Entertainment Network. Deborah has written eight books, including her released best seller, Holy Spirit: The Promise Left for the Believer and newly released, The Elephant in the Room. Deborah and her husband Chris live in the beautiful mountains of Colorado Springs, Colorado. They have three children together and are the father and stepmother to three, along with four beautiful grandchildren. Deborah is also a spiritual leader for Lions Light International.

Terry Lee

Advisor for Missions, Life-Coaching

Terry Lee has been serving in Ministry Leadership, Missions Mobilization and on church mission boards for over 45 years. She is a Certified Encounter Coach and Trainer, applying both the Encounter and Rational Coaching method. Terry has over 2 decades of experience in the corporate world and at a university in southern California.

Terry’s passion is coming alongside those serving in leadership – cross-culturally and in transition; training and equipping them to live, lead, and coach from the heart; identifying and reaching their goals, and providing perspective and encouragement to meet and overcome obstacles. She is a Certified Trainer with Leadership MetaFormation and serves as trainer of Life Purpose Coaching with Coaching Mission International.

Terry has four adult children and nine grandchildren, with another one on the way. When not working, she loves to spend time with her family and friends, reading, and being outdoors and hiking. She is excited about how God is using her in this time of her life.

Melissa (Missy) Edman

I am a wife and a stay-at-home mom with two children and three stepchildren. When I was 25, I gave my life to the Lord and my heart was set on fire to become a missionary. I spent two years as a member of YWAM (Youth with a Mission), where I completed a 3-month program that included 6 weeks of classes and 6-8 weeks of mission work. During this time, I traveled to Thailand, Africa, and the Philippines.

Currently, I serve on the worship team at my church while my husband serves as a deacon. Additionally, I have undergone inner healing and deliverance with Lion’s Light and now work as their secretary/administrator.

Pastor Craig Martin was ordained with Lions Light, October 2024 and started Lions Light International Liverpool, UK alongside of his wife Nessa. Pastor Craig has a missionary’s heart. He is an evangelizer, and counselor with people with people with addiction. He is always available to help in any way he can and has a beautiful testimony. Craig has one beautiful daughter and two stepdaughters.

Pastor Nessa Martin, UK team

Leads Praise and Worship with Pastor Craig/Board Member

Pastor Nessa Martin was ordained with Lions Light Oct. 2024. She is currently a board member and one of the teachers for training and mentoring. She also leads our Thursday Intercessory Prayer Group over Zoom. Her background is in evangelizing, Inner Healing & Deliverance and has a heart for future missions. She has had several leadership positions and has a heart to see the captives set free.

She is married to Pastor Craig Martin and together started Lions Light church in Liverpool, UK. She also leads Praise & Worship. Pastor Nessa had a heart to reach the margins of society that need Jesus! She has two beautiful grown daughters and one stepdaughter.
